Postsecondary Education
Postsecondary Education?
A lot of the time, the job that you might want will require extra education or training after you graduate high school. This can help you get a certification, credential or degree that makes you really competitive to get hired in the job and career that you want. Getting more education or training can also help you get promoted to more advanced jobs in the future and it helps you learn important skills for being independent!
Your transition team can help you explore options for more education that match your strengths, needs, interests and employment goals. They’ll guide you through the application process and your rights to extra support as a student with disabilities. Sometimes your team can even help you apply some of your classes from highschool to a training or college program!
